It is best to take any material bow tie to a proper dry cleaning service. They do not do well in the laundry.
- How do I adjust the size of the bow tie?
Currently all bow ties are made with sliders to smoothly adjust to any size neck. It may take a few tries of tying it up to get the right fit and width, but once it is as wide as the outside of the eyes/eyebrows it will look great. Then you know the length of your bow tie when untied, and this can be used to adjust other ties to a good starting point.
